On February 12, 2024, in connection with the International Epilepsy Day, Georgian Chapter of ILAE carried out public activities:
- Informational trainings on epilepsy and on first aid during epileptic seizures were held with different school teachers, young adults and young athletes;
- An informational video about epilepsy was prepared for the public;
- A video clip on first aid during epileptic seizures was created for the public;
- An exhibition of the paintings of the artist with epilepsy – Elene Gamgonidze, was organized at the hotel “Holiday Inn Tbilisi”;
- and the annual meeting of GLAE was held, where members of the GLAE, representatives of the Society of Writers and Artists, representatives of the Ministry of Education, parents and family members of children and adults with epilepsy participated.
